Jumperoo!

Rowan loves his jumperoo. Check out photos of him in action and completely worn out from hopping around. Last night (actually early this morning) he jumped for an hour and a half. Poor Jeremy! He was falling asleep in the chair waiting for Rowan to conk out. Finally, at 4:00am he took Rowan out of the thing in the hopes that he would fall asleep. Luckily it worked. He's still a little too small for the jumperoo but we've improvised a little platform for him to stand on. During his bath tonight we discovered that he is wearing out the skin on his big toes from jumping. Have we created a monster?

Other good news to jump about... Jeremy's FTE finally came through! Yea! This means that he will be a full-fledged Federal employee with all the benefits and perks that go along with it. This will give us a little more flexibility in planning our childcare situation. We've only been to day care one day but are seriously considering other options. Day care would be so much fun for an older toddler/preschooler, but it's not our first choice for a baby. We'll see what the next couple of weeks bring.

We're still working on making and posting some videos online. The photos of Rowan are pretty good, but nothing compares to seeing him in person. Stay tuned!
