We've been our usual busy selves these past few days. Work has been really hectic for me. The launch of the Network creeps ever closer. Once we go live I may write a special post about it. I know you are all dying to know what it is that I do. But I digress...
Last week was pretty rough. I had to be at a conference downtown to manage a training session and to do a presentation. Rowan was set to start back at his old day care on Monday but vomited all over his carseat, the back of Jeremy's truck seat, and the floorboard during the morning ride there. Ugh. So, J. and I took turns staying home with Rowan the rest of the week while he recouperated from his gastrointestinal cooties. It wasn't pretty, but thankfully J. and I dodged that bullet ourselves.
So, this morning we both dropped off Rowan at day care. He's in the Holly Room, which is totally awesome in my book. His new teachers seem okay, too. I think he is going to have a good time and learn all sorts of new things. Please keep your fingers crossed that he does not pick up any additional day care nasties for at least a couple of weeks!
This week is Jeremy's last week with hepatitis. Woohoo! He starts his new job on the 6th and is very much looking forward to it. I'll try to interview him next week about his experiences and share them with you here.
We have a fun adventure for the July 4th weekend. My parents are meeting us in Jekyll Island. I am soooo ready for a mini-break.
Speaking of breaks, mine is over for now. Bzzz, bzzz - Back to work!
