- Dislikes: having his nose suctioned; going to sleep at night; getting his nails trimmed
He's getting better about sleeping at night. The hard part now is getting him to go to sleep. He can really fight it! You can tell that he is so very tired but he will not succumb to sleep. Once he falls asleep, he stays asleep for several hours. Rarely does he wake. When he does, he usually has a bite of food and then settles back in for the night.
Last night he woke us up to do some proto-crawling. He is getting really adept at it. He can now prop himself up on his knees and lift his butt in the air. He's almost got the arm motions down. I bet he'll be truly crawling in the next couple of weeks. Watch out!
I've been offering him some cereal every now again. He's been receptive to it so far. Sometimes he gets frustrated with it and just wants his bottle. The past few nights he has eagerly eaten it. I made it a little thicker than I had been. Perhaps he likes the texture better. The thicker stuff is less like spit up. :-)
I've switched my work schedule to 20 hours per week. It's so awesome to be at home with Rowan. We have a good time playing and learning. I can even sneak in some chores when he naps. I think we're just going keep having more fun as he gets older. Even though I get to spend 2.5 days with him I could easily do more. He's so addictive!
